Photochromic lens technology provides a decisive performance advantage by adapting instantly to your environment. On sun-blasted roads or trails, the lenses automatically darken, cutting fatiguing glare and enhancing contrast. As you enter the shade, or the clouds roll in, the lenses lighten to provide crystal-clear definition. The FixieBLAST is our fully rimless option in the Fixie line. Designed for clarity, the photochromic lens features a full-range transmission spectrum, with double pin temple attachments, rubberized temple and nose grip finishes, and a hydrophobic coating that repels water, sweat and debris.

The lightweight frame features our eco-friendly castor bean resin, called G850, providing performance level fit and premium level comfort.

Great transition speed, unobtrusive fit

Nose guide is comfortable, good optical clarity, and feel lightweight on the face. Transitions to the darker tint quickly when going from light to dark. Great all-around shades for MTBing or offroad (trees -> open sky, etc.). There is some slight distortion when looking straight down (e.g., looking at your feet while walking) but it isn't in the field of view when on the bike.

The perfect choice, most days!

Totally versatile, lighter weight, great for small-medium size faces.

OK, so I have a lot of Optic Nerve shades, and revel in having larger performance shields like the polarized Fixie line, and amazing casual options like the lifestyle styles, but I choose these guys most days.

Here’s why: if there’s any chance of variable lighting, like the sun may go in and out, or I am riding or running in the woods, then it’s utterly invaluable to have photochromatic lenses. Nuff said.

If you’re choosing between these and the Fixie PHENOMS, these are much lighter weight and have a slimmer profile, which can be clutch if you have a helmet that pushes large frames down. My faves!

These are awesome

Started wearing these while I play pickleball. They are so light I forget I’m wearing them. The frameless design doesn’t interfere with the field of vision. I highly recommend them.
