PHOTOCHROMIC LENS TECHNOLOGY

ONE LENS. ANY CONDITIONS.

Photochromic lens technology provides a performance advantage by adapting to your environment. On sunny roads or trails, the lenses automatically darken, cutting glare and enhancing contrast. As you enter the shade, or the clouds roll in, the lenses lighten to provide more definition. The result is a single pair of sunglasses that works in all conditions, reducing eye strain and letting you concentrate on the moment.

FEATURES / BENEFITS:

  • Constant UV Protection: 100% UVA/B protection, regardless of the tint level.
  • Reduced Eye Fatigue: Minimize the need for your eyes to constantly adjust with lenses that automatically adjusting to shifting light.
  • Full Range Coverage: Eliminate the need to carry multiple lens sets or stopping in the moment to swap eyewear in transitioning conditions.

EXPLORE VLT TRANSITION RANGES

Performance of a photochromic lens is measured by its visible light transmission (VLT) range: the percentage of light that passes through the lens to the eye.

Precautions

Lifespan

The molecules in the photochromic lens are living organisms that react to UV light. Overtime the effectiveness of the molecules can diminish. Our photochromic technology will transition effectively for at least two (2) years.

Traveling

Car windows have a UV filter to protect those inside. Due to this, our photochromic lenses will not always transition inside a car.

Cleaning

To prolong the life of your lenses, rinse with fresh water, wash with a very mild soap if needed, and dry only with a microfiber cloth or cleaning case. Avoid paper towels or abrasive fabrics. Be mindful of extreme temperatures to keep the photochromic treatment effective.
