Love this Company...but really like these sunglasses. Was looking at a pair of Costa Del Sols when I ran across the Optic Nerve Contra. Similar look and side eye protection with wider arms. My primary use is non-athletic time, on the water boating or with dress wear for outside events.
I am a 2x previous O.N. customer (Neurotoxin X 2) and knew how well Optic Nerve worked with customers (I had a nose piece issue and O.N. quickly sent a replacement. My Neurotoxins are very old and well worn...O.N. products last!!)
I took advantage of an O.N. sale and picked up two pair. Well, the Contras are a great polarized choice.
1. Extremely clear lens with full polarization effect
2. Steady construction reflecting a price point higher than where they sell (how many times can we say that about any purchase).
3. The Contras remain in place from the side arms / ear connectivity versus heavy reliance on the nose piece.
4. Advantage to the glasses is their weight, which do not impact a long session wear on the nose bridge (not heavy means you really never feel the weight or a pinch after long use)
5. O.N. products last....I feel the same sturdiness that I did with my prior purchase.
